Nse Ikpe-Etim is a Nigerian Actress. She got her first degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar. She lived in many states in Nigeria while growing up which she attributed to her Father’s career working with the Central Bank of Nigeria which involved frequent transfers.
While studying at the University, she started acting on stage and had her first television appearance in the family soap Inheritance. She temporarily left the film industry after her graduation from the University and was working at a Bank before she made a comeback in Emem Isong’s Reloaded alongside Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, Ini Edo and Desmond Elliot. The 2008 Reloaded launched Nse Ikpe Etim into prominence and she was eventually nominated at the 5th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role in the movie. Her stellar performance in Mr. and Mrs also got her a nomination in the 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards. In 2014, she won the ‘Best Actress in a Drama’ award at Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (AMVCA) for her role as ‘Nse’ in Journey to Self.

She got married on February 14, 2013 to her childhood friend Clifford Sule at a Lagos registry. She shuttles between Nigeria and London where her husband who is a Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University currently resides.
