Today, I went to Silverbird cinemas to see a King of Boys Nollywood movies directed by Kemi Adetiba, one of the best Nigeria movie writer, directors dubbed “the demon of visuals”. Without a further story, no apology, this movie is the best Nollywood movie to have come out of Nigeria; full of suspense, comedy, intrigue, and actions.
About King of Boys Nollywood Movies
King of Boys follows the story of Alhaja Eniola Salami (Sola Sobowale), a businesswoman who owns fashion outfits, bakery stores and philanthropist with a checkered past and a promising and profitable political future that threatens her opponents. Alhaja Eniola is a pillar of society who was loved by many, feared by most, even the unknown and truly known by a select few.
As her political ambitions and movements see her outgrowing the political underworld connections responsible who helped her amass considerable wealth, she suddenly feels into a power struggle with top politicians, Godfathers and even, the head of anti-corruption agencies. This clash began to threaten everything she owns, and even her life, sons and adopted daughter (Adesua Etomi).
To come out of this on top, and remain the “King of Boys”, she will need every ounce of the cunning, ruthlessness, and strategy that took her to the top, as well as the loyalty of those closest to her.
But did she make it to the top, eventually?

I don’t like Nigerian movies and I have never written a review on IMBD or anywhere else, but after seeing this movie yesterday, seeing it again in my dreams and waking up still thinking about it, I knew I had to write this. The very unpredictable movie, the best Nigerian movie in history. Well done Kemi Adetiba and the cast, couldn’t tell that most of the actors are not so experienced when watching the movie. Well done!!
