Richard Mofe-Damijo (popularly known as RMD) is a popular Nigerian Actor that hails from Delta State, Nigeria. For his secondary education, he attended Midwest College, Warri and Anglican Grammar School in Warri; and was a member of the Drama Club. He proceeded to the University of Benin where he studied Theatre Arts. He also gained a degree in Law from the University of Lagos in 2004.
After his undergraduate studies, he had a stint as a Reporter with Concord Newspapers and Metro Magazine before he took part in the popular television soap opera in the 80’s called Ripples. From there he went on to feature in so many films. He has a production company, RMD Productions Limited which he actively runs with his Public relations agency White Waters Limited. Out of Bounds was the first film for which he received a writer/producer credit.

Mofe-Damijo was married to Nigerian journalist/publisher, May Ellen-Ezekiel (MEE). After her death in 1996, Richard Mofe-Damijo married Jumobi Adegbesan, who was a TV personality at the time but left that for the corporate world. Richard Mofe-Damijo has 5 children; 4 with his current wife and 1 from his previous marriage.
Referred to as a veteran in the industry, RMD has received numerous awards notably a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
